The Phantom's Little Sister

We all know how amazing, beautiful and elegant the Rolls Royce Phantom is, but today I’d like to talk about the Rolls Royce Ghost.

The Rolls Royce Ghost has been a project that’s been talked about since 2006, that year Rolls Royce announced they were working on a smaller model. In 2009 Rolls Royce came up with the experimental version, the 200EX, it was presented in the Geneva Motor Show. In September that year the production version of Rolls Royce Ghost showed up in the Frankfurt Motor show, the car was already priced at $245,000. It was cheaper AND shorter (Approx. 17Inches) than the Rolls Royce phantom.

The Ghost Quickly received the name, The Driver’s Rolls. It is not rare to see Rolls Royce owners driven around by a professional chauffeur; the Ghost is nothing like this. It is a car that was made to be driven by the owner.

The Rolls Royce Ghost is Smaller and more agile, and it is a driver’s car, but nevertheless is still a large car. Like the Rolls Royce Phantom it is a luxurious and elegant car. It is a large, proud car, weighing over 6000 pounds and exceeds 5 feet in height. The standard wheels are 19-Inch and if this isn’t enough, you could also get them at 20-inch and of course they come in shiny chrome. It also has an Active Cruise which will tell you the distance between yourself and the next car, and a steering wheel that will vibrate if you stray.

If all of this isn’t enough to impress you, the bulls used for the leather in the Ghost are stress-free because they come from a bar-wire free pastures so that the everything in the Ghost will be without a flaw. The paint job will be flawless, it will require 20 days to finish it in one of the 12 colours. Of course the Ghost will give the sensation of being in one of the most techie cars thanks to all of its high-tech features, here are a few of those features; a head-up display, which will appear in the windshield, night vision, it will detect heat up to 300 metres. Of course it is up to you to decide which of those techie features you will need in your new Ghost.

And here are the most important things you should remember about the Ghost, It has a 6.6-liter direct-injected V12 engine, it’s price tag is $245.000 and its top speed is 155 mph
