Is Owning a Rolls Royce the same as owning a Chihuahua?

With celebrities splashing out huge sums on luxury items each year, it is inevitable that one of the big sellers is automobiles. Cars make a statement about the driver and the lifestyle they lead and as a celebrity; an expensive, beautiful car is a must-have.


Rolls Royce’s are some of the most beautiful cars in the world, incorporating elegance and design styles to form a unique product.  Not only do they look amazing, but they also attract attention; something which many celebrities are always looking for more of.

Many celebrities have bought or received as gifts various different styles of Rolls-Royces; from Sir Alan Sugar’s 2005 Rolls-Royce Phantom David Beckham’s Phantom Drophead. With such a diverse range of Rolls to choose from, celebrities are spoilt for choice when it comes to picking out their ideal car.

Even the late-Michael Jackson liked to travel in style; he owned a Rolls-Royce 1975 Corniche Turbo which he was very proud of. As a fitting tribute to Mr Jackson, Rolls-Royce provided free-of-charge Phantoms for his family to travel in for his funeral. This was most appropriate given the star’s enthusiasm for Rolls. It was also an opportunity to get media coverage and pass on this enthusiasm to others who were present.

The in the world of Sport, expensive, fast and slick looking cars are an essential. Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has gone through his fair share of cars but one of the most stylish purchases has to be his Phantom Drophead Coupe, providing him with the comfort he wants as well as making sure he will always arrive in style. Fellow footballer David Beckham has similar tastes; he purchased the Phantom Drophead.

Other celebrities who are proud owners of a Rolls-Royce are Travis Barker (of Blink182), Mariah Carey, Sylvester Stallone, Snoop Dogg, Eddie Murphy and of course, the famous heiress herself ; Paris Hilton. It seems that big bucks means big, beautiful cars with a lot of luxury.
